Welcome to the Stevenson High School
Student Computer Helpdesk!!

Return to SHS Home Page

Please Note:  ALL students need to present their CURRENT (2011-12) SHS ID to use student DESKTOP computers in the link labs, ILC classrooms, and the East and West Learning centers!

If you DO NOT have a current SHS ID you may go to either attendance office and they will reissue one for a $5 fee.
If you do not have the $5 you will be issued a new ID and will be given a recorded fine slip for the $5 amount which you will be liable to pay by the specified time on the slip.

Procedures for checking in and out of the Link Lab:

  • Anyone coming to the Lab must have their current SHS ID card. It does not matter if the students are working in pairs or groups. Each person who wants to be in The Link, touching a computer or not, must have their ID card with them.
  • The student ID will be given to the Staff member at the desk. The ID will be exchanged for a “Signed In” card. The ID will be left at the desk so it can be scanned and filed.
  • The “Signed In” card will be taken to the assigned computer workstation and displayed on the upper left corner of the screen. Please use the Velcro dot.
  • When finished working, the “Signed In” card is returned to the desk, the student ID will be scanned and returned.
  • Please allow extra time leaving the lab. Late passes will not be written.
  • Failure to follow these procedures will result in a Discipline Referral.
